DR CARLY Jim (pictured) has been promoting World Neurofibromatosis Day this week at the Brooks building.

Carly, Senior Lecturer in Psychology, took part in the day where people with Neurofibromatosis and their supporters unite to raise awareness of this condition, as it is relatively unknown.

To mark the occasion, Carly manned a stall in the Brooks building on May 17 for colleagues to find out more about the genetic condition.

Carly added: “I have recently become a founding trustee of a new charity to support children and young people with NF and therefore if anyone happens to have a few pennies to spare I would be most grateful for a donation.”
