Get involved with a biodiversity survey of the Cheshire campus

WE HAVE an opportunity for students and staff from Crewe to get involved with a biodiversity survey of the Cheshire campus! The aim is to survey badgers, plants, birds, inverts, moths, bats etc., set up camera traps, and to carry out acoustic surveys.

The event will take place on June 3.

Students will work alongside experts from The Environmental Partnership (TEP), staff from Manchester Met and local naturalists to gain useful survey and species identification skills. This survey will contribute directly to a baseline survey for Manchester Met which will be repeated in future years to track populations and communities as changes are made.
