THE CENTRAL Mail Service provides professional mail and delivery services across the whole of the University.
Whether directly to Services, across Manchester Met, students or external visitors, their range of services includes distributing letters and parcels, collecting confidential waste and providing an internal courier service.
The team are currently preparing their Customer Service Excellence accreditation and, as part of their commitment to continuous improvement, have introduced a mystery customer scheme to assess their service at the Post Shop.
The first results have come in and they have received some great feedback, such as “I enjoyed the level of enthusiasm and friendliness” and “the quick and informative service was outstanding.”
The results also highlight areas of improvement which the team are keen to work on.
