Manchester Metropolitan University is proud to be working in partnership with Community and Voluntary Services (CVS) Cheshire East to host their annual conference on 5th October in Crewe.
This free event will provide an opportunity for fundraisers to meet face to face, share a free lunch and enjoy a day of seminars covering topics such as managing difficult volunteers, strategic planning and much more. The event will also include the Annual General Meeting of Community and Voluntary Services Cheshire East.
Dr Kevin Gallimore, Associate Dean for Knowledge Exchange, at Manchester Metropolitan University’s Cheshire Campus said: “We are delighted to be sponsoring CVS Cheshire East’s annual conference at Manchester Metropolitan University this year. The event is an excellent opportunity for us to welcome and engage with the community, voluntary and faith sector on the Cheshire Campus.
“I am sure this launch will result in fruitful partnerships with funders and local groups. The seminar programme is to cover three key themes ‘building communities, empowering voices and inspiring volunteers,’ providing lots of opportunities to network and explore potential collaborations and projects between community groups, students and our academics on the day.”
