The Tour of Britain heads to the Cheshire campus for Stage Three of the journey.
Starting Tuesday, September 6th, you will see riders cycling just over 111 miles between Congleton and Tatton Park in Knutsford, setting off at 11.00am and finishing at around 3.30pm. A pocket guide to the route is available here
The route will pass the Cheshire Campus at approximately 11.45am but please be aware that all roads on the route will be closed using a rolling road block for around 40 minutes – both 20 minutes before and after the cyclists are expected to pass through each town. More detail about the anticipated stage times is available here.
If you are travelling in proximity to the route during the affected times please be prepared for temporary disruption. There will also be limited vehicular access in and out of the campus as the Peleton Convoy passes. If you have invited visitors to the Cheshire campus on the day in question please make them aware of the potential disruption.
