Diabetes research set to be showcased on BBC

Diabetes research within the School of Healthcare Science is set to broadcast on BBC1’s Inside Out show on Monday (October 24) at 7.30pm.

The episode will focus on interventions to help people with diabetes and talks to Professor Neil Reeves, Professor of Musculoskeletal Biomechanics, who is leading several research projects into the impact of diabetes.

The BBC crew visited the University and filmed for several hours on one of the studies looking at using novel foot pressure technology to prevent diabetic foot ulcers.
