People news: Charity and Congratulations

bake4sandsThe Executive Support + MIPS Team in the Faculty of Business and Law raised a fantastic £250 for SANDS! The charity does great work for bereaved families, and the amount that was raised at the bake sale will go towards personalised support for at least eight families affected by stillbirth or neonatal death.

For those of you who guessed how many sweets were in the jar: the amount was 214 sweets, and Elizabeth Coates won with her guess of 207. For those of you who guessed the name of the bee: her name is Phoe-bee, and Yontem Sonmez won the plush toy.

Your contributions mean a great deal, and the team truly appreciate everyone’s generosity. Thank you again!
