Join us for afternoon tea in room g.05 in the Sandra Burslem building at 3pm-4.30pm.
Every year we celebrate the UN’s International Day of Disabled People (IDDP). This year’s UN theme is to build a more inclusive and equitable world for disabled people. Based on this idea, Manchester Met University will focus on our own achievements and goals for 2017. Some of our disability equality successes for staff this year include:
- New Campus Access Maps & Guides
- New Disability Guides for Staff and Managers
- New Disability Smart Training etc.
The E&D team, a few members of the Disabled Staff Forum and E&D Champions will be on hand to answer any questions and go through the new resources.
Please try to come along and encourage staff to attend (particularly those with managerial responsibilities). A flyer with more info can be downloaded here: high-disabili-tea-staff-event_flyer – feel free to post up/circulate.
Spaces are limited and to ensure we can cater for everyone, please make sure you BOOK ASAP, by visiting: https://high-disabili-tea.eventbrite.co.uk
We look forward to seeing you there!
