The Programmes Office team based at Manchester Met’s Cheshire Campus were proud to raise over £390 for Children in Need last week thanks to their raffle, cake sale and fancy dress. The Programmes Office team chose the Children in Need fancy dress theme ‘Do your own thing’, dressing in costumes of their choosing or Pudsey Bear t-shirts.

Programmes Officer Alison Bailey said: “A big THANK YOU to all the staff and students who supported the Children in Need Raffle and Cake Sale in the Programmes office at the Cheshire campus, so far we have raised around £390 and expect this total to rise a little more. Big thanks also go to Dr Karl Russell and his Business Management students who raised over £70 of this amount prior to the event and also to those who donated raffle prizes and cakes.”

BBC’s Children in Need raised £46,624,259 this year, and the Programmes Office were delighted to be able to contribute to this overall total.
