We’re turning the page to a new year in the Library with a brand new collection of books, brought to you through an exciting collaborative project with Manchester Public Libraries (MPL).
Each term will see around 150 books loaned to us by MPL, which will be available to staff and students at Manchester Met as part of our Love to Read programme.
The first collection launches on Friday 20th January 2017, and includes popular fiction, cookery books, biographies and more – including Hilton Als, Haruki Murakami, Andy Murray and Ella Woodward.
You can find the books in the reading corner in the Ground Floor Foyer of All Saints Library, together with our selection of current newspapers and magazines.
The even better news is you can borrow up to two books from the new collection at any time on top of your normal borrowing allowance.
If you aren’t a member of MPL, why not join? Membership is free and open to anyone living in the UK. You can borrow books, use computers and access their electronic resources. Find out more about Manchester Public Libraries and what they can do for you here.
