Amazing schedule and staff benefits announced for this year’s Manchester International Festival

An amazing schedule of events has been announced for this year’s MIF, which marks the Festival’s tenth anniversary.  Artists in this year’s festival include New Order, Arcade Fire, Jeremy Deller,  Liam Gillick, Mary-Anne Hobbs and Turner Prize nominee  Phil Collins.

Manchester Metropolitan University is proud to be a Gold supporter of this year’s Manchester International Festival which runs from June 29 to July 16.

As Gold Supporters of the festival, staff and students from the university will benefit from priority opportunities to join the popular MIF Volunteer Scheme where they can develop new skills, share expertise, join an enthusiastic community.

They are also eligible for 20% discount (£45 rather than £55) to join the Festival Member scheme, offering tickets for dress rehearsals and discount on Festival Square.

MIF has forged a global reputation as a festival of all new work and special events created by international artists.

The Festival takes place at venues all over the city with a range of events from dance and drama to music, art and much more.
