Reducing food waste and helping businesses become sustainable

Manchester Metropolitan University Waste and Recycling Manager, Amanda Reid, has been invited to sit on panel to discuss food waste and helping businesses to become more sustainable.

The discussion will be held at the Farm Shop and Deli show at the NEC on the 24th April, where Amanda will be joined by Love Food Hate Waste Ambassador and leading writer, Richard Fox; the Co-op Corporate Responsibility Manager, Hannah Gallimore, and owner of Farmer Copleys Ltd, Robert Copley.

Amanda is soon to be seconded to the Faculty of Science and Engineering as the Waste to Resource Innovation Network Manager (W2RIN) to lead on promoting a beacon research area, ensuring that the value in the resources we disguard is kept through reuse, recycling and use of the Circular Economy principals.
