Are you interested in the University’s academic activities?  Then you may be interested in joining the University’s Academic Board, which advises the Vice-Chancellor on the University’s academic and other activities.  In particular, it considers and advises on matters relating to awarding taught and research degrees.

The composition of Academic Board includes provision for one member of the teaching staff from each faculty.

The term of office of the current teaching staff members ends on 31 July 2017 and nominations are now invited for representatives to serve on Academic Board for a two year term of office from 1 August 2017.

Nominations must be made on an official nomination form (available at or from Kate Brown on extension 5985) and received by the Returning Officer, Room L302, 3rd Floor, All Saints Building by 4.30 pm on Friday 12 May 2017.
