Zone out Zone success

Thank you everyone who came and took part in Zone Out Zone! Whether you gave yoga a go, bounced on our trampoline, passed a pig, patted a guide dog or made a play-doh masterpiece, we hope you enjoyed the experience.

Brought to you by MMU Sport, Zone Out Zone took place over five days in All Saints Park providing a hub of de-stressing activities and ideas to help you feel blissed out during exam week. Participants could also engage in meditation and mindfulness activities to help you through your day. With 1174 staff and students taking part over the event, it’s been a great success and is planned to return again next year.

An individual website was created for the series of events, which received 2,417 unique visitors over just three weeks. Big thanks to Business & Law and Arts & Humanities participants for being our most engaged faculties making up over 60% of our attendees. We also welcomed numerous disabled staff and students to the tent and had a good level of engagement with international students who came along to get on board with the Zone Out Zone ethos.

We’re already thinking about what may happen next year, so if you have any feedback that may inform the programme, please contact Abi Dean:
