There is just one week to go before the free Family Fun Day at the 2017 Manchester Children’s Book Festival.
It takes place on our All Saints campus on Saturday 24th June. A free event for families, with activities for all ages, the event runs from 10-4pm across Geoffrey Manton, the Business School, in All Saints Park and Ormond Street.
With special appearances by Peppa Pig and Q Pootle 5 for little ones, author and illustrator events, arts and crafts, comic strip and drama workshops, multi-sensory storytelling, music, science, augmented and virtual reality, performance poetry, beatboxing and rap and grime workshops, inflatables and outdoor sports activities and GRUB Food Markets, there really is something for everyone.
Detail of the whole programme, which includes details of the Family Fun Day and other events taking place over the next two weeks, can be found on http://www.mcbf.org.uk/whats-on/events
Bring your families along on the day and please help to promote this brilliant event to friends. Publicity materials, including bookmarks, posters and brochures, are on reception desks in Manton, Benzie, Business School and John Dalton. If you want additional copies to distribute to your children’s school or to friends, call by GM212, where additional copies are available. Follow us on Facebook or Twitter @MCBFestival #MCBF2017
There is no need to book onto the Family Fun Day but it is a good idea to book onto individual events, where spaces are limited, to secure your places.
We hope to see many of you there on the 24th.
