Results of Staff Survey to be considered and action plans drawn up

We have now received the results of the 2017 Staff Survey, which was completed by 63% of staff from across the University.

These results have now been analysed and shared with senior managers and in the coming weeks, the major themes and local results will be shared with staff in more detail.

The results of the staff survey will be considered carefully as University and local action plans are developed over the coming months.

Senior staff will soon receive the five-step ‘Own to Action’ plan, which highlights local area and faculty results.

The plan will help shape how Manchester Met works together for the future. The 5 steps are as follows:

  1. Review
  2. Reflect
  3. Ready
  4. Commit
  5. Communicate and ongoing action

The ‘Own to Action’ process will include further discussion with staff to better understand the feedback and get their views on actions to address the feedback.

We will be updating the Staff Survey web pages very soon where staff will be able to download the full report.
