The University has won a Top Employers Certification award from the Top Employers Institute, the global certification company recognising excellence in the conditions that employers create for their people.
Josie Elson, Assistant HR Director, collected the award at the Top Employer Accreditation Dinner in London.
She said: “We are delighted to be recognised as a leading employer by the Top Employer Institute.
“The accreditation process helps us to review our policies and processes and consider how we can improve them further.
“We already have great benefits and support for development which help to make Manchester Metropolitan a great place to work, which in turn attracts great people.”
The University was certified as reaching the Top Employers certification benchmark following a HR best practice survey – a comprehensive analysis of the organisation’s employee conditions – alongside an internal and external review ensuring validity of information, and data accuracy.
