Manchester Writing School lecturer Livi Michael is hosting an evening with author Madeleine Miller at Waterstones in Deansgate, Manchester, from 6.30pm on May 1.
In association with the University’s From Historical Fact to Contemporary Fiction course, the bookstore welcomes Madeline to discuss her incredible new book.
From the Women’s Prize for Fiction winning, internationally bestselling author of The Song of Achilles comes the powerful story of the mythological Circe, inspired by Homer’s Odyssey.
Madeline will be in conversation with Livi about the novel, talking about gods and heroes, magic and monsters, survival and transformation and Circe, the first witch of western literature.
